Configuring Adomni Ad Serving Campaigns in NoviSign

This guide will walk you through each step of configuring your ad campaign parameters from your account on the ad serving platform Adomni – a web-based service for serving advertisements.

This means you can sign up for this third-party platform and create your own ad campaign—defining the order, frequency, and other parameters for how your ads are displayed.

Using NoviSign’s Ad Widget, which supports several ad-serving services, you can configure Adomni to display ads from your campaign as part of your NoviSign playback content.

Before getting started, make sure you have an active Adomni account and that your first ad campaign is fully set up within the platform.

How do I set it up?

  1. Login to your user account in the online Studio CMS.
  2. In the creatives tab let’s create a creative which will use you as an ad replacement for your ad serving campaign. Click the “+ New Creative” button to create a new creative.
  3. Choose your template (or “Start Fresh with Blank Page” for empty template) and then you’ll find yourself in the Creative Composer tool.
  4. Add any widget you like to the canvas and customize it. Then drag the ad serving widget to the canvas. Probably you’d like to resize it to take more space on the canvas.

  5. Now, in the left properties pane you will see the properties of the ad widget. In the top dropdown list choose “Adomni”. The properties pane will repopulate itself to show settings from your Adomni service account.

  6. Under the “Connection Settings” you will see 2 settings and one toggling button for turning this ad widget to be alive (as long as the “Live” toggling button is set to off, the ad widget won’t be active). The settings are:
    • Type – This toggle button allows you to choose what to display in this creative: either a campaign (by the owner ID and the campaign ID) if you choose the “Integration” option, or a content from a specific device (by its ID in Adomni) if you choose the “Device” option.
    • Owner – This is an account token unique only to you (you see it if you chose “Integration” option).
    • Keys – This is the API key you got from Adomni for a specific ad campaign (you see it if you chose “Integration” option).
    • Device – This is how you named each device which is supposed to run a campaign (you see it if you chose “Device” option).
  7. After you setup the above settings and turned the “Live” to on, press the “Save” button in order to save your creative (without saving, previewing the vendor’s campaign might not be visible).
  8. Press the “Preview” button on top to see how the creative will look like (if you have active campaign that is supposed to run now, you will see it in the ad widget) and to validate the integration.
  9. Exit the preview and exit your creative. Now, you’re ready to use this building block in any of your playlists (tip: you can use it more than once in same playlist).
