Embed Widget

The Embed Widget combines two web-based features into one powerful tool:

1. Display a Web Page – You can show a live webpage directly inside your creative (previously handled by the now-retired Webpage Widget). On interactive devices like tablets, the webpage can even support user interaction.

2. Embed HTML Code – You can insert and run HTML code snippets to display custom web content (previously done with the Embedded HTML Widget).

   

A key advantage of this widget is that, in most cases, the web content remains visible even if the internet connection is lost. It can even persist after a media player reboot, when operating in offline mode.

1. In the Creative Composer, drag and drop the Embed Widget onto your canvas.

2. In the widget’s Properties pane, choose whether to use a URL (for a web page) or Embed option (for HTML code).

3. Enter the URL or paste your HTML code snippet.

4. Preview the content to make sure it displays correctly.

5. Save your creative when you’re satisfied.
