Training Step 5: Creating Your First Playlist

What Is a Playlist?

Playlists allow you to control the play order, schedule, and duration of your creatives. You can choose exactly which content plays, when, and for how long on your digital signage screens.

Playlists-in-Studio

Inside the PLAYLISTS tab, you’ll find four main actions:

  • New Playlist – Click to create a brand-new playlist.

  • Edit – Select a playlist and click Edit to open it for changes.

  • Delete – Remove a selected playlist.

  • Duplicate – Make a copy of an existing playlist (useful for creating similar setups).

Required Actions: How to Create a Playlist

Follow these steps to build your first playlist:

  1. Click the “New Playlist” button.

  2. Enter a name for your playlist and type a short description (optional, but useful for organizing).

  3. On the left side of the screen, you’ll see a list of your creatives. Click the plus (+) icon in the middle of any creative you want to include.

  4. Once added, you can manage each creative within the playlist:

    • (a) Change the play order by dragging and dropping the creatives into your desired sequence.

    • (b) Schedule when each creative should play by clicking the calendar icon on that creative.

    • (c) Adjust how long each creative plays by clicking the “10 sec” label. You can customize the duration in seconds.
