University of Florida Deploys NoviSign Digital Signage Campus-Wide

The University of Florida (UF) is a leading research university in Gainesville, Florida. With over 50,000 students, the campus is a bustling hub of academic and extracurricular activities. UF sought an innovative solution to replace their existing multi-vendor signage solution.

Challenge

Before NoviSign, UF had deployed digital signage across the campus, but each department was using its vendor, causing confusion and inefficiencies in our support for these services. As a result, UF wanted to centralize its digital signage services to provide a more efficient, cost-effective, and stable solution.

Solution

After evaluating several options, UF implemented NoviSign’s Digital Signage Software platform across the campus.

Over 200 screens of various sizes were installed, with plans for further expansion. The deployment was phased, starting with high-traffic areas like the student union, student study spaces, research buildings, libraries, housing, The Infirmary, and academic buildings.
