This user guide explains how to customize widget links/URLs—such as those for the YouTube, RSS, and MRSS widgets—by managing the predefined options within user profiles in the Admin tool.
These profiles allow you to set specific links your clients will see when using these widgets.
How to do it?
- To remove links, you need to edit the profile as all this should be done within a specific profile (it can be the default profile you assign most of your end users).
- Once you entered a profile in an edit mode from the Admin tool, click on the “Widgets Links” tab, and you will get 3 columns named as “YouTube, MRSS, RSS”.
- You can remove existing links for those widgets “YouTube, MRSS, RSS” or add new ones.
For example, if you would like to remove a link for YouTube, move the mouse to be in the link which you would like to remove, when the mouse cursor is over the link, remove icon will appear in the right side: click on it, and you will get a small popup which you can click “Remove Link”, and the link will removed for the widget.
Alternatively you can select the pencil for editing the name and link.
By editing links within profiles, you control what your end users see when using these widgets.
