The HTML player app is actually NoviSign’s digital signage player which can run a playback to be displayed within a browser. That means you can run the WPlayer in any platform (operating system) since it does not depend on the operating system and only needs a browser to run within it (Google Chrome is the best one).
More than that, you can actually embed (in some cases) the WPlayer inside an iFrame element within an HTML page, in order to have NoviSign running inside other pages.
The WPlayer is used as an infrastructure for other customized player apps, such as the ChromeOS player app, the Tizen (Samsung) player app, the webOS (LG) player app, the Linux player app, the custom screen saver (for Microsoft Windows and for MacOS) app and the app for the BrighSign media player.
All you need to do is just to run the URL: https://app.novisign.com/wplayer, setup all the settings there and use it wherever you’d like to. Make sure that the browser will auto start when the device reboots and that homepage of the browser is set to the aforementioned URL. You can broadcast to this player app content like you can to any other player app we have.
