This guide will walk you through how to enable the “Collect Statistics” feature for a user account—an essential step for generating Proof-of-Play reports that track how often and where specific creatives and media are displayed.
By default, this feature is disabled, and must be manually turned on both in the Admin Console and within the Studio environment.
Once activated, it begins collecting media and creative playback data for that user—information that is essential for generating Proof-of-Play reports (e.g., how many times a Coca-Cola video was displayed, on which screens, and during what timeframe), which advertisers rely on to measure campaign performance.
Enable Collect Statistics in the Admin Console
Navigate to the Accounts page.
Select the relevant account.
Click on the Billing tab.
Click Edit Account.
Enable the Collect Statistics toggle.
Enable Collect Statistics in the Studio for Each Creative
Log in to the same user’s Studio account.
For each creative you want to track, open it.
Check the “Collect Statistics” box inside the creative settings.
Note: this applies to the creative and all media elements within it.
Summary and Best Practices
Both steps must be completed to fully enable statistics collection.
Only creatives with the checkbox enabled will appear in Proof-of-Play reports.
