This user guide will explain you, as a white label partner, how to create your own user profiles, templates, template categories, initial creatives, initial media items and more. All this can be done in the Admin tool (where you manage your users).
When you enter the Admin tool (you can do it using the “Manage” link in your managing user while you’re logged in), in the left menu you now have an option called “Profiles” (except the “Dashboard”, “Accounts”, “Users” and “Utilities” options.
Once you click the “Profiles”, you can click any of your existing profiles (if you have any) or click the button “+ New Profile” in order to create a new profile.
If you create a new profile, except naming it, you will need to decide whether to make it your default profile (which means it will be applied by default on every new created account).
Profiles
In the main page of Profiles, you can create, edit, manage and delete your profiles.
Each profile will contain its own templates, its own initial creatives as well as other properties.
In order to assign a specific profile to a new user:
From the Admin console, select profiles.
Select the profile you wish to assign to a user.
Click on Accounts, and click on the red Add User button on the upper right.
Click on the Plus sign you see to the right of the accounts.
Once selected, click on the Add button.
In order to change/assign a default profile for the end users:
Open the Admin Console and select Profiles.
Select the profile you wish to add to an account/users, then click on the red button in the upper right, then click the “+Add Account” button
Select the accounts you wish to add to this profile, or Select all to add to all accounts.
Under a profile you will find 6 tabs: “Templates”, “Initial Creatives”, “Media Library”, “Widget Links”, “Settings” and “Accounts”.
Templates
Templates are pre-prepared composed creatives which you can choose from when you you’re about to create a new composed creative by pressing the “+ New Creative” button in the Creatives tab in your online Studio.
You can create templates only based on composed creatives which exist in the account of the managing user of your partner account.
In order to add templates to a profile:
Open the Admin Console and select Profiles, select the profile you want to add templates to.
You can add creatives that are in your admin account (on the right pane under the tab “My Creatives”), or you can add partner templates that are in the NoviSign system (on the right pane under the tab “Partner Templates”). You will need to hover over each template with your mouse and click on the plus sign that appears, Templates need to be added one at a time, you can also search for templates.
In order to change a template’s name:
Open the Admin Console and select Profiles, select the profile you want to deal with its templates.
Click the “Templates” tab.
Find the template you wish to rename and click on the 3 dots to open the popup menu.
Select Edit, change the name and click on the “Save Changes” button.
In order to remove a template:
Open the Admin Console and select Profiles, select the profile you want to deal with its templates.
Click the “Templates” tab.
Find the template you wish to remove and click on the 3 dots to open the popup menu.
Select the “Remove from profile” option and approve the next confirmation question.
In order to categorize your a template:
Please notice that templates can be assigned to one category, category of templates. Thetemplate categoriesare managed within the templates scope. You can create, edit and delete only categories which you created. Not categories which were provided by NoviSign.
Open the Admin Console and select Profiles, select the profile you want to deal with its templates.
Click the “Templates” tab.
Find the template you wish to categorize and click on the 3 dots to open the popup menu.
Select the “Add to category” option in order to add this template to an existing category or you can also press “+ New Category” if you wish to create a new category of templates to be populated. Make sure you save your work.
Initial Creatives
These are the composed or simple creatives (either image or a video) that every new user will find in her/his account (in the Creatives tab) after logging in.
You can create them only based on creatives which exist in the account of the managing user of your partner account.
The user will find them after he or she logs in the first time.
That means, if you change them – this will not affect existing users, only new ones which you will create in the future.
In order to add initial creatives to a profile:
Open the Admin console, select Profiles, and open the profile you wish to add initial creatives to.
Click on the “+Add Creative” button on the top right. This will add Creatives, both from your admin account and the NoviSign Templates.
In order to rename an initial creative in a profile:
Open the Admin console, select Profiles, and open the profile you wish to handle its initial creatives.
Select the Initial Creatives tab.
Click on the 3 dots in the lower right of the initial creative you wish to rename.
Select “Edit” and then you’ll be able to rename it.
Click the “Save Changes” button in order to save it.
In order to change/remove initial creatives in a profile:
Open Profiles, select Initial Creatives and click on the 3 dots in the lower right of the creative you wish to Edit/Remove.
You can edit the name using edit or remove it from the profile by clicking the Remove from profile.
Media Library
These are the media items (either image or a video) that every new user will find in her/his account (in the Media Center which can accessed by clicking the Media Center button in the Creatives tab or the inside the Creative Composer) after logging in.
You can create them only based on media items which exist in the account of the managing user of your partner account.
Widget Links
These are the URL options of the RSS, MRSS and YouTube widgets.
You can customize them by creating your own under a selected profile.
That means that if a selected profile has 3 specific RSS links which you’ve created for it and 5 YouTube links which you’ve created for it, when a user with that profile enters the online Studio and has that selected profile, then in the Creative Composer when using an RSS or MRSS or YouTube widget s/he will have only those URL options instead of NoviSign’s defaults.
Settings

Accounts
Clicking this tab will give you a list of accounts which this profile is assigned to them.
NOTE: You can assign more than one profile to a specific user.
Assigning a profile to an account can be done only here, not in the account record itself
You can have a couple of profiles, but only one can be the default profile.
The default profile is the one that will be chosen by default in the “Profile” dropdown list once you create a new user account.
Of course, you can choose any other profile or choose “none” if you don’t want to choose any profile (in this case, you’ll have all of NoviSign’s default templates and the good old 4 initial creatives).
When you create a new template or a new initial creative, you can set its name, description, order, proportions and default duration.
