Automated Player Inactivity Alerts

The Player Inactivity Alerts feature provides automated email notifications when Players stop reporting to NoviSign. Alerts are sent only to the Account that owns each Player or to additional recipients defined through a custom mapping file, ensuring accurate and focused monitoring.

When a Player fails to report within the defined timeframe or its status changes, the system automatically sends an email that includes:

• The Player Name

• The last active timestamp

• The Account associated with the Player

This improves upon the previous behavior, where users could receive alerts for all Players under a partner instance.

Alerts are now tied strictly to the Player–Account relationship or to user-defined mappings.

• Automatic email alerts for Players that stop reporting.

• Each Account receives notifications only for the Players associated with it.

• Status checks run automatically at scheduled intervals.

• Provides precise, targeted monitoring without unnecessary alerts.

To configure this feature, users must contact NoviSign Support and provide a publicly accessible Google Sheets CSV link in the following format:

Required Columns:

1. Physical Player Name 
   • Must match the Player Name exactly as it appears in Player settings. 
2. Email 
   • One or more email addresses to receive alerts for that Player. 
   • Multiple addresses must be separated by a semicolon (;). 

This CSV file acts as the authoritative Player-to-email mapping source.

When a CSV mapping is provided, the system can send alerts to multiple recipients per Player. Different Players can have different email groups, enabling flexible, granular monitoring across teams or locations.

This feature offers an automated, accurate method to monitor Player activity and ensure device uptime.

With CSV-based multi-recipient support, customers can easily control who receives alerts and customize monitoring per Player.
