Account Log

What is the Account Log

Account Log (also known as “Audit Log” feature) is a feature that allows you to track all the actions been done in a certain account of yours.

All Studio actions, of course.

How to Access the Account Log

  1. Once you are in the online Studio CMS, you can switch to any of your accounts (by clicking the “Hi ” text with down arrow in the top right corner of your Studio; and then clicking “Switch Account” in the popup menu).
  2. Now within the account you are seeing now, you can access the settings (by clicking the “Hi ” text with down arrow in the top right corner of your Studio; and then clicking “Settings” in the popup menu).
  3. In the settings page you have you should see 5 tabs (“My Profile”, “Account Settings”, “Account Team”, “Account Log” and “Solutions”), choose the “Account Log” to access your audit log.

What Will You See in the Log

In the log you will see the last 10 records of any action taken in the current account. Each one shows:

  • Date & time when the action took place.
  • The username which did the action (remember: an account can be accessed by more than one user).
  • The action which was taken. That can be creating, updating or deleting an entity (creative, playlist, screen, parameter, configuration, group). It can also be login or logout of a user from the account. Updating the Media Center repository of the account may also appear there. Some actions are not logged into this log, but might be added later by NoviSign (sharing a creative or a playlist, duplicating an entity). Please notice that the record will not include information of the nature of the update (i.e. altering text widget within a creative).

You may see up to 10 records at a time. If there are more records, you will have a “Load more logs” link in the bottom. Clicking it will load more.

Note: Any account is limited to show a certain amount of last records and that depends on the subscription and plan type of the user account.
