Managing 2FA from NoviSign Studio
Overview
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an important layer of security to your NoviSign account by requiring both your password and a second verification method. This greatly reduces the risk of unauthorized access and helps ensure that only verified users can log in to the Studio.
This article focuses on how users can manage and configure 2FA directly from NoviSign Studio.
Accessing 2FA Settings in NoviSign Studio
If 2FA is enabled, users can configure their preferred verification method within the Studio CMS.
To access the 2FA settings:
- In the top-right corner of NoviSign Studio, click Settings.
- Navigate to the Authentication section.
- Locate the option Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and toggle it on.

Available Verification Methods
1. Authenticator App
- Supports any TOTP-based authentication app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator).
- Requires installation of an authentication app on the user’s mobile device.
- Generates time-based one-time codes used to verify login attempts.

2. Email Verification
- Sends a verification code directly to the user’s registered email address.
- Does not require installation of any additional applications.
- Suitable for users who prefer a simple, app-free authentication method.

SMS (Text Message) Verification
- Available for users whose subscription plan includes SMS-based 2FA.
- When selecting “Verify login by text message,” users must first confirm their personal mobile phone number to receive verification codes.

Users may choose the verification method that best suits their needs and convenience.
Disabling 2FA
To disable any configured 2FA method, users can toggle “Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)” to Off.
This action automatically deactivates all associated 2FA settings.
