How does NoviSign display Power BI?

NoviSign’s Studio includes a Dashboard widget that connects to systems like Power BI. A reliable approach is to use the Embed widget and insert your Power BI report URL so it displays on your screen.

How often does the data update?

By default, report data is reflected at the next report reload interval, which is roughly every 15 minutes.

Do I need a Power BI account?

Yes. You need Power BI access and the appropriate permissions to display the report or dashboard you want to show.

How often does the Power BI dashboard refresh?

Report data changes are reflected at the next reload interval, by default about every 15 minutes.

Why does it ask me to authenticate?

Power BI uses Microsoft authentication to verify access to secure resources, so sign-in is required to display protected reports.

My device won't display the report – why?

Some older media players with outdated web components may not render the report; use a current device for best results.
