Displaying Social Media Content in NoviSign

Overview

NoviSign currently does not provide built-in social media widgets, including the Instagram widget.

However, you can still display social media content from platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and X (Twitter) by using the third-party platform EmbedSocial together with NoviSign’s Embed Widget.

This integration allows you to display live social feeds, photo galleries, and user-generated content directly on your digital signage screens.

Prerequisites:

- NoviSign Premium plan or NoviSign partner account
- An active EmbedSocial Pro Plus plan (required for social feed widgets used in this integration)

What is EmbedSocial

EmbedSocial is a third-party platform designed to collect, manage, and display content from social media accounts, including:

Instagram feeds
Facebook posts
Twitter content
User-generated reviews and photo galleries

EmbedSocial generates embed code (HTML) or a public widget link, which can be inserted into a NoviSign creative using the Embed Widget.

How to Get Started with EmbedSocial

After registering, send an email to:

laze@embedsocial.com

Include the following information in your email:

The name used to register
The email address used for registration
The social media sources you want to connect
The number of sources

Once the request is received:

EmbedSocial will activate the appropriate plan
The account will be connected to NoviSign’s main partner account
The discounted NoviSign partner pricing will be applied

Each new account includes a 7-day free trial, after which the subscription begins.

Once your EmbedSocial account is activated, you can create your social feed widget:

Log in to your EmbedSocial account.
Connect your social media sources, such as:

Instagram
Facebook

3. Create a widget that displays your selected content.

EmbedSocial will generate either:

Embed Code (Recommended)
HTML iframe or script code that provides better customization and compatibility.
Public Widget URL
A direct link to the widget.

Once your widget is created, you can add it to your digital signage content.

Log in to your NoviSign Studio.
Open an existing creative or create a new creative.
Drag the Embed Widget onto the canvas.
Paste the HTML embed code or public URL generated by EmbedSocial into the widget settings.
Resize and position the widget as needed.
Click Preview to verify that the content loads correctly.
If everything looks correct, publish the creative.

Best Practices

✔ For the smoothest experience, we recommend using the embed HTML code rather than just the link.

✔ Always preview your creative before publishing to confirm that the content displays properly.

✔ Make sure your device has a stable internet connection to load external content.

✔ Test the widget layout to ensure it fits properly within your screen design.
